New information group \u201cWorking in Austria\u201d: Startbegleitung responds to current developments<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On November 18th, Interface Wiens Startbegleitung<\/a> launched the new information group \"Working in Austria\" for the first time.<\/p>

The reason for this is highly topical: With the changes to minimum income support passed in Vienna on November 19, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026, those granted subsidiary protection will lose their entitlement to minimum income support. This decision significantly worsens the social situation of many affected individuals and makes rapid entry into the labor market a crucial necessity.<\/p>

To provide targeted support, the new information group was established. It offers guidance, particularly to those granted subsidiary protection, on entering the Austrian labor market.<\/p>

The goal: to strengthen self-preservation and avoid precarious living situations by providing those affected with early information, knowledge and practical support.<\/p>

The information group provides practical knowledge on key issues:
\u2013 How do I find a job?<\/em>
\u2013 What does a professional application look like? What is important in a CV?<\/em>
\u2013 What is the AMS \u2013 and how can it support me?<\/em>
\u2013 How does the Austrian labor market work?<\/em>
\u2013 What rights do I have at work?
<\/em>\u2013 How can I improve my German skills?<\/em><\/p>

To make access as easy as possible, the information group is offered bilingually in German\/Arabic and German\/Farsi. The first session was well attended and clearly demonstrated the high demand for information and the participants' motivation.<\/p>

Following this successful pilot meeting, the information group now meets weekly.
With this offer, Interface Vienna aims to support people so that they do not have to cope with the new challenges alone and to help them to actively and knowledgeably shape their professional path in Austria.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
