In the "World Parliament" workshop, held as part of the Year of Democracy, participants of the StartWien College immersed themselves in the world of democracy on May 26, 2025, and experienced firsthand how parliamentary processes work and the challenges that global decisions entail.
Spring cleaning fever in childcare

As part of the City of Vienna's spring cleaning campaign, the childcare center in the StartWien Hub project also participated in the initiative. With great commitment and enthusiasm, the children and their caregivers collected trash in the neighborhood, thereby setting a strong example of environmental awareness and community spirit.

StartWien College presented as “Best Practice” in Prague

We're looking beyond our own horizons – and across our borders to Prague! "Attention, Support, Potential. Accessibility of Secondary Education for Young People with Migrant Backgrounds – Stakeholders and Challenges" is the title of a conference in Prague on March 20th, where our project manager, Barbara Peschke, presented the StartWien College project as a best practice example from Vienna.
