Startbegleitung für Asylberechtigte und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte

The Startbegleitung für Asylberechtigte und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte (Start-up Support for Asylum and Subsidiary Protection Beneficiaries) provides advice on all questions of daily life in the first two years after status has been granted (livelihood security, apartment search, learning German, job search, school and kindergarten placement, and more).

Telephone and in-person consultations are offered for individual topics, as well as comprehensive case and settlement support. Family and couples counseling, assistance for refugees and young adults (under 25), housing support, and active assistance with job search in cooperation with the WAFF complement the services.

The multilingual advisory team consists mostly of social workers with refugee backgrounds.

The aim of the consultation is to provide holistic care and support for refugees with asylum and subsidiary protection status in order to stabilize their living situation and ensure a successful start to life in their new home of Austria.
