Startbegleitung für Asylberechtigte und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte
The Startbegleitung für Asylberechtigte und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte (Start-up Support for Asylum and Subsidiary Protection Beneficiaries) provides advice on all questions of daily life in the first two years after status has been granted (livelihood security, apartment search, learning German, job search, school and kindergarten placement, and more).
Telephone and personal consultations on individual topics as well as holistic case and arrival support are offered. Family and couples counseling, support for young refugees (under 25), housing support and active support in the job search in cooperation with the WAFF complement the offer.
The multilingual advisory team consists mostly of social workers with refugee backgrounds.
The aim of the consultation is to provide holistic care and support for refugees with asylum and subsidiary protection status in order to stabilize their living situation and ensure a successful start to life in their new home of Austria.
