With the new school year, a new round of our Lernhilfe courses started at five polytechnic and vocational secondary school locations in Vienna. New: Lernhilfe Alpha courses - literacy courses for non-regular students.

“Experience tennis like never before!” – this slogan was the motto for 9 young people from our InterSpace basic education program at the ATP tournament on October 21st! A free ticket donation from Verein Springboard enabled the young people to immerse themselves in the world of tennis.

Everything is new! Our basic education program Mama lernt Deutsch is starting the new semester with renewed freshness. And it's not just the courses that are new - the course and childcare rooms have also been newly equipped and designed!

Our newest pilot project: The StartWien Hub is coming!

"The StartWien Hub is the new education and advice hub of the city of Vienna in the 20th district. What is special about it is the holistic support it provides to newly immigrated families. They receive comprehensive education, advice and information services in one place that will help them to successfully gain a foothold in Vienna in the first few months after their arrival."

Learn to swim! What is so normal for some people in childhood remains just a wish for others well into adulthood. But sometimes wishes come true! The Verein Springboard fulfilled this wish for 8 young women from our basic education project InterSpace.

...then often with one eye laughing and one eye crying: one crying because the group has usually spent a very long time together - learning, practicing and laughing together and they will miss learning together, their group and their teacher; with one laughing because they can go into the future strengthened with new knowledge and new skills, new courage and confidence!
