New laptops for young people from basic education

A particularly generous donation from the Springboard association, which has been regularly supporting our participants with various donations for many years, has now brought 18 very special smiles to the faces of the participants of the project InterSpace - Basisbildung für Jugendliche.

“A Day in Kindergarten” – Parent Education at the StartWien Hub

In our StartWien Hub project, parental involvement is also central to early childhood education in childcare. Special workshops are designed for them: The first ones have now been implemented on the topic of kindergarten.

ÖDaF Annual Conference 2025: This is how multilingualism works!

The Austrian Association for German as a Foreign/Second Language met from February 28th to March 1st. Two speakers from Interface Wien demonstrated possibilities for teaching that is oriented towards multilingualism.

Breakdance Vice Youth Champion dances with Lernhilfe students

Young celebrity visiting our Lernhilfe project! For a dance education unit, the students of the Lernhilfe Alpha courses were able to train with the Austrian vice youth champion Elias Rosas Rondinelli aka BBoy Koda, who taught them some cool moves!

„Schriftlos heißt nicht Sprachlos“ is celebrating its anniversary – and we are there!

For the fifth time, participants of basic education courses become authors – and can present their own texts on the big stage: The result is more than worth reading!

Extremismusprävention goes television!

Our project “Extremismusprävention macht Schule” was shown twice on ORF last week: The news program “Wien heute” and the report “Sprachlos im Klassenzimmer – die Krise an Österreichs Schulen” reported on the school workshops.

Summer is coming soon! – Part I: Sommercollege

Many of our projects are looking forward to summer – including the StartWien College. We have our Sommercollege here in the summer as part of the StartWien College Lernhilfe!

Visiting the StartWien Hub

The StartWien Hub, which opened in December, received a visit on February 6:
Numerous representatives of the municipal council as well as a speaker from the office of the deputy mayor and acting city councilor Christoph Wiederkehr were able to see our great new project for themselves!
