I'm walking with my lantern…

... and over 60 happily singing children, teenagers and adults from my basic education project at Interface Vienna are joining in!

Lantern Festival – you've seen it? Certainly not this one! With our 1st Lantern Festival of Basisbildung, we were able to attract some astonished glances on the late afternoon of November 14th: Around 60 children, young people and adults – participants and colleagues from the basic education programs InterSpace and Mama lernt Deutsch - walked through the streets around our Favoritenstraße and Paulanergasse locations, singing happily and accompanied by our talented colleague Erika on the guitar, with colorful, homemade lanterns. On Mozartplatz, not only were croissants shared and tea drunk, but self-designed posters presented and nice sayings and poems recited.

A wonderful experience for our participants - and especially for the children in our childcare! Many thanks to our committed colleagues from basic education for this wonderful initiative!
