Online registration for the Wiener Sommerdeutschkurse 2026 has started.
On April 1, 2026 started the Online registration for the Vienna Summer German Courses 2026 . The free service offered by the City of Vienna is specifically aimed at new students, which will be available in autumn 2026 non-regular students to start at a Viennese elementary school.
From 2026 onwards, students with special educational needs will be required to attend the Bundessommerschule (Federal Summer School).
The Wiener Sommerdeutschkurse start even earlier – and thus provide children with important lead for a successful start to the school year.
Particularly for school beginners with a need for German language support, the period before the first day of school is crucial..
The Wiener Sommerdeutschkurse enable children already before school starts to practice German, gain confidence, and get to know everyday school life.
