“(M)eine Heimat” (My home) – Young people tell their stories in an exhibition
What does home actually mean? Many people ask this question. But only a few transform their answers into an extraordinary exhibition!
Under the title “(M)eine Heimat” (My home) participants of our youth education project StartWien College as part of an exhibition on their approaches to the concept of "home." This summer project was designed by the young people together with their German teacher, Kazuo Kandutsch, who also works as a curator and cultural mediator – in cooperation with the network "Geschichte Willkommen“ (History Welcome).
The exhibition, which was proudly and ceremoniously opened on July 31, features objects and stories that the participants associate with “home.”
