New training course: Early childhood language education for assistant staff in kindergarten
On November 21, 2025, Interface Wien will launch its first part-time training course, "Early Childhood Language Education for Assistant Staff in Kindergarten." It was developed on the basis of profound experience in language teaching and childcare – especially through our intensive work in StartWien Hub with (newly) immigrated children.
Why this course?
Assistants are an indispensable part of kindergarten everyday life. They accompany children through many everyday moments – moments in which language is acquired and developed. Through their regular, close interaction, they significantly shape the linguistic environment in the kindergarten.
To utilize this potential more effectively, clear language teaching qualifications are needed. This is precisely where the new course comes in:
It raises awareness among support staff about the importance of early language education and provides practical know-how to professionally support children in language acquisition.
With this offer, Interface Vienna strengthens the quality of language education in kindergarten and contributes to ensuring that all children, regardless of their native language, have a strong start in their educational biography.
