Look into our projects: I am at home in Vienna
From the huge gold-framed portrait of Empress Maria Theresa to the mini St. Stephen's Cathedral and the horse in medieval armor, there are all sorts of exciting things to discover in the Wienmuseum - especially for everyone new to Vienna!
An art project now shows young people from our Basisbildung courses discovering their new home and photographs them with a clear statement for their new home. In and around the Wienmuseum, the participants discover all sorts of interesting, beautiful and curious things and pose in front of them with a large “I am at home in Vienna!” sign. The resulting images reflect the diversity of Vienna, tell stories and give a face to integration.
The project idea and photo series come from Esin Turan, our long-standing and wonderfully talented trainer on the project InterSpace – Basisbildung für Jugendliche!

This decision significantly worsens the social situation of many affected individuals and makes rapid entry into the labor market a crucial necessity.
